Abbey Medieval Festival

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2014, the Abbey Medieval Festival, held at Caboolture every July, is one of Australia's premier re-enactment events. Focused specifically on the Medieval time period, re-enactment groups from all over join together to perform, hold workshops, and demonstrate their skills to the general public. The Templars have participated in this event since forming in 2011.

History Alive

Held at Fort Lytton on the Queen's Birthday long weekend in June, History Alive covers 2000 years all in one event. The Templars participate in this event and set up their encampment as it would have been in 1229.

Templar Events

From time to time the Templars will hold a special event for members and their families. Some of these are solemn occasions - such as the Knighting Ceremony - while others are just for fun - like the Feast held in January 2014 at Mt Nebo State School.

Other Events

From time to time the Templars participate in events organised by other re-enactment groups or organisations (e.g. the Lismore Italian Festival).

The Templars make much of their own gear and hold workshops on a regular basis. These not only cover practical needs like making chests and shields, but also cover costuming, the Rule of the Temple, music and historical information, etc.
